Job description

We at PRONOVIAS GROUP, Global leader in the Bridal industry with headquartes in Barcelona, are currently looking for a talented and outstanding Business Intelligence Analyst to join our IT Team.

Responsabilities and Functions:

Develop functional and technical analysis of business processes, especially in sales, marketing and operations (e.g., supply-chain and logistics)
Configure and develop visualization tools, preferably PowerBI using best practices
Know how to interpret Cognos reports for later analysis and implementation in PowerBI.
Build and maintain the Datawarehouse (DWH), including: Data Model, Logical Model, Process Design, Physical Design, Testing, Software Deployment, Construction and Management
Develop ETL processes and data modeling (ODI, SSIS, etc.), preferably Microsoft technology
Organize and do training workshops for business users
Direct and influence the business areas in the optimal solutions for their needs
Support users during critical moments

Requirements

BsC in Computer Science or Telecomms Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing ETL and BI solutions
Experience in business process analysis, preferably in Retail
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Development orientation with technical knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft SQL Server and Integration Services, PowerBI; Cognos knowledge will be valued
PowerBI knowledge such as creating visualizations, connectors, scripts, etc.
Knowledge of OLAP, tabular models, their implementation from Microsoft's Visual Studio tool and their storage and administration from the SQL Server Analysis Studio tool
Knowledge of Databases, preferably SQL server and SQL sentences; Knowledge of database administration and optimization will be valued
Knowledge of data treatment, integration and modeling, preferably Microsoft SSIS (Integration services)
Experience in user management in a highly demanding environment for BI needs
Desirable experience in technical consulting
Valuable experience in Cloud environments (e.g., Datafactory)
