Job description

We at PRONOVIAS GROUP, Global leader in the Bridal industry, are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated Product Developer to join our growing Product Development team.

Our mission is to materialize our bridal collections, aiming highest quality standards and technical innovation, taking most care of all details of our designs along the entire process and in constant communication with our vendors and partners.

We are looking forward to a new team member at our Product Development Department in charge of one of our successful bridal brands.

Functions and responsibilities:

Fluid communication and sensibility to develop bridal collections hand in hand with the design team.
Daily follow up of the development process since the creation, until the final product is ready to be commercialized wordlwide, following a strict collection calendar.
Creation of highly detailed tech packs.
Constant communication with vendors to achieve the desired concept, quality and costing for our product, including costing negotiation.
Ability to solve daily poping up technical questions and agility to react to unexpected situations affecting the deadlines and the milestones of the procedure.
Being a team player, interacting with other departments and teaming up with them as part of the process.
Fitting, discussing and evaluating styles with feeling for fashion, fabrics and technical know how of the industry.
Use of IT tools such as Power Point and Excel is a must. We will consider it a plus, knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.

Requirements

Three years previous experience in a similar position.
The candidate must bring either design, pattern making or technical background in the fashion and textile industry.
Fluid in English, spoken and written. Additional languages such as Italian, also to be considered.
Correct and professional use of the above mentioned IT tools.
Interpersonal skills are of highest importance for us: assertiveness, flexibility, generating a good work atmosphere, creativity, passion for our collcetions, problem solving and analysing, dynamic and capacity of thinking ahead.
Experience working with suppliers overseas, China and constant communication in terms of product development comments and price negotiation.
Experience in following up open cost sheets and working towards a target cost goal.

Skills

Organization skills to fulfil different tasks in paralell, avoiding the loss of quality or any factors affecting the product standars.
Communication skills to interact with vendors, other departments and within our Product Development division.
Design and technical knowledge are much appreciated, in addition of having a flair for the product.
Negotiation ability in an international business environment.
Positive, motivated and dynamic attitude.
Being a proactive team player, essential at this department.
Responsibilty and agility to carry out the complete follow up of the brand, for every collection.
