Job description

 

In Pronovias Group we have been over 50 years dressing dreams with our five brands: Pronovias, San Patrick, White One, Nicole y Ladybird. 

We are hiring an Alterations Manager for our store in NYC that, alligned with the Store Manager, will be responsible for organizing and supervising the activity of the alterations team, in order to guarantee the highest excellence standards in the post-sale service. 

Roles and responsibilites

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

  • Supervise the postsale service, including the daily fittings, deliveries and taks agenda. 
  • Organize the team and material resorces efficiently, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and operational coverage of the workshop. 
  • Report regularly to the Store Manager about all the key events that happen in the store. 
  • Give advice to the customer during the fittings, ensuring that they are recieving a professional and excellent service. 
  • Control and check the gowns and accessories recieved from HQ to make sure they they arrive to the store according to the deadlines and, once recieved, that they comply with the Pronovias quality standars. 
  • Control an manage the alterations PO's and follow up on any administrative taks required (appointments for fittings, pick-ups, ect) to guarantee the correct workflow of the alterations department. 

TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Organize and supervise the alterations team by keeping track of their individual and team objectives, with the goal of guaranteing a service based on excellence and adapted to the Pronovias sales cycle. 
  • Manage and optimize the team schedules, adapting them to the business needs. 
  • Inform and share with the team regularly any updates related to the workshop organization ( products, prices, IT sistem, etc) to guarantee a correct workflow of the department. 

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a consolidated experience in managing alterations departments or made to measure workshops in the premium or luxury segment. The knowledge of the bridal or occasionwear industry is a plus. 

 

It is also essential that you are a positive person, passionate over delivering an excelent customer experience to our customers, results oriented, strong teamworker and a great problem solver. 

You will also demonstrate excellent communication skills and we will value positively the knowledge of different languages.
